Electrical components FAQ
Questions, answered.
Do you manufacture brass fuse terminals?
Yes, and they are one of the established lines here. Fuse terminals are custom-made to your drawing for use in distribution panels, terminal blocks, switchgear, circuit protection devices and industrial control systems, in brass, nickel-plated brass or tin-plated brass.
Which brass grades do you use for electrical components?
C36000, C37700, CZ121 and IS 319 Grade I and II for general terminals and contacts. Nickel plating is used where corrosion resistance matters, tin plating where conductivity and oxidation protection matter. Copper and aluminium are available on request for maximum conductivity or lighter busbars.
Why is brass used for electrical components?
Brass combines good electrical conductivity with strength, corrosion resistance and excellent machinability, the standard choice for terminals, pins, connectors and switchgear parts. For maximum conductivity we can also supply copper components on request.
Do you supply tin- and silver-plated brass contacts?
Yes. We provide tin plating for solderability and corrosion resistance, silver for high conductivity and low contact resistance, and nickel or gold where the application requires it.
Can you make EV charging pins and high-current contacts?
Yes. We manufacture high-conductivity brass charging pins, contacts and connector components for EV and power applications, machined to tight tolerances and plated for low contact resistance.
Do you produce custom terminals and neutral links to drawing?
Yes. Send your drawing or sample and we'll manufacture custom terminals, neutral links, bus bars and connectors to your exact dimensions, thread and plating.
Are RoHS-compliant and lead-free brass electrical parts available?
Yes. Low-lead brass and RoHS-compliant finishes are available across our electrical range, with compliance documentation supplied on request.
